Prince William and Kate Middleton expecting their first child

Good tidings are on the way for the royal family of Britain. According to reports, Prince William and his wife Kate are expecting their first child, destined as the future monarch of England. The news of the first baby for the royal family delighted everyone, especially the royal family.

The couple, known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot in April last year, triggering a global media frenzy and for some time there has been speculations in a lot of newspaper about an imminent pregnancy.

According to reports, Kate Middleton was reported to consulting doctors at the King Edward VII Hospital in Central London. Apparently, the Duchess of Cambridge was suffering from very acute morning sickness. Although there are no specific details about when the baby is expected as the pregnancy is in its early stages.

Prince William is the second scion of the royal family in line to the British throne. William’s first child will gain the right as the third successor to the British throne, even if the new born is a baby girl.

Last year, Britain and other Commonwealth countries agreed to alter the rules related to royal succession, so that sons would no longer have priority as heir, regardless of age.

William and Catherine currently reside in north Wales where the prince dons the role of a Royal Air Force search and rescue pilot.
