There has been a lot of coverage for the free, non-profit , on-line learning tool called Khan Academy, created as an afterthought by Sal Khan whilst he tutored his younger cousins.

The value and popularity of Khan Academy was covered extensively here (and here and here). But, did you know that Lebron James also uses Khan Academy?

It's no secret that there is a substantial amount of science that supports and develops professional athletes, and Lebron James is using his own curiosity and celebrity to involve children with proactive learning. According to ESPN, Lebron James and his team reached out to Khan Academy asking to work together and questions that Lebron James really was curious to have answered about his game.

Lebron James may not have gone to college, but he's letting his impressionable fans know that he has not stopped learning.
