Linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his Girlfriend identified as Kasandra Perkins, 22 at their home in Kansas City, Missouri after an argument and minutes later, he arrived at the team's Arrowhead stadium and killed himself by a gun outside practice area in front of his coaches after thanking them.

"When the officers arrived, when they were pulling up, they actually observed a black male who had a gun to his head and he was talking to a couple of coaches out in the parking lot," "As officers pulled up, and began to park, that's when they heard the gunshot and it appears the individual took his own life." Snapp said

The 25-year-old NFL Star had a 3-month-old daughter from Kasandra who killed at about 7:50 a.m. local time in the presence of her mother in their home.

''The entire Chiefs family is deeply saddened by today's events, and our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy, thoughts and prayers for the families and friends affected by this unthinkable tragedy,'' said Kansas City Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt in a statement.
