This is an interesting view of the legislative process post election. It appears that the negotiations are about to fall off the cliff.

The plutocracy forced all manner of suffering, indignation and humiliation upon the American people to satisfy their insatiable greed. Now that the tables have been turned and the people expect their tormenters to share the misery they arrogantly imposed upon their victims, we see that these small, petty and spoiled plutocrats are not man enough to accept the consequences of their failed reign of tyranny. "I shall not suffer as I would make others suffer so long as I have less fortunate people to sacrifice upon the altar of greed. I would impose poverty upon others to enhance my wealth and social status, so why not heap the misery upon the other guy rather than make any sacrifices to atone for my sins of haughty arrogance, beastly belligerence, callous indifference, rabid ambition, religious intolerance and insatiable greed?"

Your employees made you successful. You were unwilling or unable to perform all the work necessary to become successful on your own. Your employees invested their time in your dream and made it a reality. As investors they are entitled to increasing returns upon their investments as the capitalist mantra proclaims. The investment of one's life in an endeavor is far more valuable than the investment of wealth. We have only one life and no bank lends time.

Working and Middle Class Americans need to form a political party based on leveraging votes rather than the plutocracy’s tactic of using immense wealth as a weapon of oppression. Let the plutocracy spend billions of dollars on their candidates’ political campaigns. Our party controls the majority of the votes and we will win every election. The plutocracy will become intimately familiar with the misery and suffering they deliberately imposed upon everyone else.

Better days are ahead if the body of the people once again assembles to oppose the tyranny of the other people that refer to themselves not as Americans, but as the oppressors and exploiters profiting from the misery and suffering of Americans. May the flames of Hell torment their souls for all eternity. May we, the victims of their absolute tyranny have the distinct honor and coveted privilege of hastening their arrivals to their appointments with eternal damnation. It is time to honor the courage and selflessness of the Revolutionary Generation that bestowed upon us the founding principle of equality.

He's not. I don't need explosives to get my point across. Truth is a far more effective weapon against arrogance, lies, corruption and greed. Obviously the force of truth is as powerful as an explosion. Evil fears courage and selflessness. Be very afraid. The force is with me Darth Vader. Whrr/Hrrr

Boehner is still worried about Grover Norquist, as far as 2014 goes, but the next step is for the GOP to counter our president's offer -- that's the way it is supposed to work - no value in pointing fingers if you do not put out the details for your proposal... But that would put a target squarely on Boehner's tanned forehead. In the meantime, he continues the losing campaign rant of holding tax rates firm, but putting a limit on deductions as the right solution. The transparency here is reprehensible - limiting deductions is a "Trojan Horse" - Blue states will be the most impacted, a way to anger Democratic support, and the deduction ploy will impact the masses, not just 2%, but more like 50%, another way to make voters reject Democrats in 2014.... can't we get beyond this party bias to something that is worthwhile? Desperate men do desperate things, and Boehner and his clansmen are very desperate at the moment. Saner heads need to defect and get on with it!

Thank you for sharing this news report from Washington D. C. We will see if the Republicans give in to Obama's wishes or stay put and not raise taxes.

Speaker of the House Boehner has to be the worst Speaker of the House by far if he cannot negotiate a deal this time around.
