It’s results night on “The Voice” and hostannounced that once again the fans shattered voting records. While all of the singers charted on iTunes; Terry hit the number one spot on the Rock chart, Melanie hit number one on the Alternative chart, and three of the singers hit the top 10 of the iTunes songs chart.
Amanda Brown and Trevin Hunte joined forces to perform a duet of thesong “Marry the Night”.
The first singer safe for the week and moving on to the top six is team Blake’s Cassadee Pope.
Coach Cee Lo Green joined forces with Kermit the Frog for a performance of “It’s Not Easy Being Green” as Janice, Animal,, and Muppet Cee Lo took over the red chairs and old gent hecklers Statler and Waldorf looked on.
The next singer safe to the top six was team Adam’s Amanda Brown.
Cody Belew, Melanie Martinez, Nicholas Brown, and Terry McDermott performed “Rhythm of Love”.
The next singer safe was the second singer from team Adam and the show’s youngest performer Melanie Martinez.
Dez Duron and Cassadee Pope teamed up for a performance of “I Hate that I Love You”.
The fourth singer safe for another week was soul man Nicholas David. Only two more spots are left to fill with four singers remainng.
After a break host Carson Daly revealed the final results for the week…
…the last two spots in the top six went to Scotsman Terry McDermott and team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte.
Cee Lo lost his first singer when Cody Belew was eliminated and Christina lost her remaining team member when Dez Durojn was eliminated from the competition.
Next week the six remaining singers will perform for fan votes and a shot at the top of the iTunes chart.
