I am not terrible impressed with Rice, but I am less impressed with McCain and his cronies. Although the position has been a political hot potato in the past I am not convinced that Obama should have to persuade the opposition to accept her. She is not making policy.

grateful for your comments ... she is the choice of President Obama and, hopefully, he knows what is best for the US ...

I guess my question is, so Susan Rice is the best that the Democratic Party has. In her time as ambassador she just hasn't done nothing but impressed me. I don't think she'll be confirmed. But it's like what are we dealing with in the world. With everything that's going on is she the best we have to offer? Is she the one with the best experience? I believe that ultimately Susan Rice will be one of the ones who ends up being under the bus for Benghazi Libya. Clinton has already thrown her underneath the bus, As I've said many times before, Benghazi Libya is not going away guys. It's a pretty big blunder. The Pentagon, the CIA, the State Department, and the White House it's starting to look more and more like a cover-up. No think that Susan Rice will make it. I'm for Barney Frank's somebody with some pizzazz.

What about Bill Clinton, he is respected around the world, do you actually think that the Muslims have respect for a lady ambassador. I thought that we would be caring and respectful of other nations beliefs.

Instead of saying that 'she is aggressive', why not say that she is assertive? I would agree with the application of the later

So then the reason for which she is being chosen is that she agrees with Obama on the reason for the Benghazi attack. It is all a cover up.

No, Susan Rice is not qualified for the job. She deliberately went on many TV shows and said things to the American people that she knew were not true, things that were rewritten. She told Sen McCain, when asked why Ms Clinton didn't tell American's what happen, that MS Clinton was tired. Tired, For heaven sakes that is her job plus she had other's under her she could have sent out that are part of Ms Clinton's office. It seems Ms Clinton and Obama wanted to send someone who knew nothing about the situation so they would say the rewritten, untruth without question because she did not know any better..So she is not qualified AT ALL for the job..She may be very smart and she may do HER UN job very well but Obama and MS Clinton ruined her for any other positions that may come up in the White House, Just Like This One..She has Obama and Clinton to Blame for this, not the American people.

I would also like to add, it really pisses me off that every single time we make a remake about an African American that is negative, the country turns its into a racist remark...Susan Rice's not being qualified for the job has nothing to do with the color of her skin..Next thing, I see on TV is a black group of women claiming racism..This is BS..Its about time facts are faced..Not every african american is gualiffied for their job and she is one of them...She might be fine for what she is doing now but for Ms Clintons,...Slavery is over..I have never had a slave..My parents never had a slave..My grandparents never had a slave..My great grandparents never had a slave..Before that I can't answer for, but it's over... White people alive today cannot go back and change anything in history and we should not be held accountable for what happened way back when and I am so tired of being held accountable for it.. I can't change it..I do not agree with it but it happened..I do not know any slaves today and I do not believe anyone has had any slaves in this century..I do not think there are any slaves owned today.. If anyone knows of any alive slaves you better call the authorities...But I believe it over and I wish everyone could put it behind them...Like I said, I am so sorry our country treated any human being like that..But it cannot be changed...But for Godsake, stop turning everything into racism..It's just going to cause more trouble one day..

Well, this is interesting. I hadn't known all of the things which had been posted since I posted the initial remarks yesterday. It seems to me that our illustrious team at the top, consisting of our president and soon to be former sec'y of state, have picked someone out to further their misguided goals. Does that surprise any of us?

If this is her accomplishment, she is counter-productive. She has placed us on a course for another war, supported attacks on a sovereign nation at peace (Libya) and stirs up strife in Iran and North Korea, just as strife was stirred up before we attacked Iraq. She does not understand the power available to overcome fears of the people:

"One of her recent diplomatic achievements was the NATO-led air campaign which toppled Libyan leader General Moammar Gadhafi and going in for tougher sanctions against Iran and North Korea to counter their nuclear programs."
