Yes, the top two teams of the second division move up automatically and the the bottom two go down. Third last in the top league has two game aggregate point play off with the third placed second division team. So in any given year three teams could be relegated. I would like to see the same sort of thing in North American professional leagues, especially in hockey. Coming last would mean something.
