High-level talks between China-South Korea


This fifth Strategic Dialogue, scheduled to be held in Beijing, starting Monday night for two days. The dialogue will be led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, Ahn Ho-young and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun. The meeting marked the first high-level talks deal them, since Beijing entered the era of new leader Xi Jinping. South Korea and China also will hold annual ministerial-level talks on Monday representatives to discuss security and important issues, which are of common concern. It is hoped the two sides exchanged views on the ways, the bilateral strategic partnership, in the current situation, the Korean Peninsula and international issues, and interests, including the North Korean problem. according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Seol, Yonhap reported, and diplomatic sources in Seol.

Xi Jinping, the new leader of China, is expected to occupy the leadership position of the Communist Party of China and head of the military earlier this month. Dialog China and South Korea, next carry significance, as it will be held shortly after the new leadership was inaugurated in China. The talks came amid signs that Pyongyang show, is reportedly preparing to launch a new long-range missiles, on the launch pad that has been previously used to launch rockets.
