The 1,449th Worldwide Environmental Clean-up of the World Mission Society Church of God is hold for the fourth time in the Philippines on November 22, 2012 with the assembly at 8:30 AM at the NIA Road in Quezon City. This clean-up is done to commemorate the birth of New Jerusalem Mother. This is in cooperation with the barangay officials of Brgy. Pinyahan and the support of the local government of Quezon City.
Over 400 volunteers gather from Quezon City, Manila and Mandaluyong to clean and rehabilitate the area of NIA Road, and also to educate the residence of the place with the hope of maintaining the cleanliness in the said vicinity. This campaign aims not only to rehabilitate the area, but raise awareness to people from all walks of life that the problem of pollution affects not only a particular class of people, but all the people.
The Environmental Clean-up is being carried out by the Church of God in various countries worldwide with the love of Mother such as Korea, USA, Peru, Nepal, Singapore, India, UK, and the Philippines to name a few. This is a worldwide campaign that aims not only to save the world, but save the souls by leading the people to know God who came in the flesh, and His bride, the Heavenly Mother.
Through such activities that aid the society, the World Mission Society Church of God is now recognized by the United Nations and was recently awarded with the President’s Volunteer Service award by Pres. Barrack Obama of the United States and was given the ¡°Royal Merit of Cambodia by the Cambodian government.
