
Houston Texas. The Houston Rockets officials announced on Saturday afternoon the passing of Alexandra "Sasha" McHale, 22, who died after she lost her battle with lupus.
McHale took a leave of abscence of coaching the Rockets on November 10 to be with his daughter who was in Minneapolis.
Houston Rockets owner Les Alexander said of the tragic passing of Sasha McHale the following statement: "Our entire organization is mourning the McHale family loss, and we ask you keep them in your thoughts and prayers."
Kelvin Sampson is the interim coach of the Rockets said "It's not out of the woods yet. There's still a lot of concern, but it is improving."
McHale is the second year of coaching the Houston Rockets basketball team. McHale is a National Basketball Association Hall Of Famer who played his entire career with the Boston Celtics.
