Prime Minister

Supreme court has terminated the contempt of court notice against prime minister in NRO case on writing the letter to Swiss government. Judicial minister thanked supreme court. Hearing of prime minister contempt of court case in reference with NRO case took place under the 5 member bench led by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali in supreme court. Judicial minister Farooq A Naik appeared in the court and told the bench that the letter has been sent to Swiss government according to court orders. Reference documents have also been sent to Pakistani ambassador in Geneva.

Swiss government received the letter in November. Judicial minister presented the documents in this regard to supreme court and said that it has been implemented according to 9 judicial requirements. Now the contempt of court notice against prime minister should be terminated and judicial investigation should be stopped against him. Supreme court said in their orders that apparently paragraph 178 of NRO implementation case has been implemented so the contempt of court notice against prime minister is therefore terminated. Judicial minister has thanked the supreme court for termination of notice against prime minister.
