Suicide Attack On Muharram procession. 20 Killed More Than 50 Injured.

Rawalpindi: A very tragic news is here that a suicide attack is witnessed here in " Dhok Sayidan" area of Rawalpindi District.


At least 20 people lost their lives while more than 50 are struggling for their lives in a critical condition.


According to the eye-witnesses Two suspected persons tried to enter into the 'Imam Bargah Qasr E Shabir' " Dhouk Syedan". Security officials stopped them to enter and tried to search their body then an explosion is heard.


Dead bodies and injured rushed to near hospitals by the people and resue teams.


An Emergency is announced by the Chief Minister in the Rawalpindi Hospitals.


A hand grenade has also been recovered from the spot of the blast.


Security forces have surrounded the area and are trying to preserve the evidence by clearing the area of the people.


President Asif Ali Zardari,Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and other political leaders condemn the Incident.
