Nigeria's north has been hit by scores of bombings and shootings blamed on Boko Haram

By EMMANUEL UDOM

Dr Ben Ukadike, international coordinator, World Rescue Ministries International on Wednesday in Lagos, south-west Nigeria hit real hard on some Christian leaders in Nigeria.

Speaking during the 2nd Jesus People Movement international conference for 2012 held at Ben Auto Event Place in Akowonjo area of Lagos, Ukadike blamed some Christian leaders for their desperate search for attention, self-recognition, and wealth accumulation, while the name Jesus is ignored.

According to him, if all the Christians and churches in Nigeria unite and erect Jesus bill boards in all the states affected by the Boko Haram menace, the violence, bloodbath and rebellious spirits of those faceless persons behind the sect will be killed

His words: many Christians have lost their lives in Nigeria to Boko Haram and other religious crisis because the antidote given to Christians to fight the enemies (Jesus Christ) has been relegated to the back ground.

``In many churches today, you will big Bill Board in different parts of the country and in front of the churches advertising the photographs of the pastors, bishops, prophets etc. Christians should know that devil don’t fear the name pastor or bishop, he lamented

``The only name given to us to fight evil vices is the name Jesus. If we must fight Boko Haram or terrorism, we must erect bill boards of Jesus in the area they are operating. It sounds stupid but it works.

Ukadike, a lawyer-turned-Jesus crusader insisted that there is demonic spirit behind Boko haram. We can’t fight them with physical weapons. No amount of arms and ammunition can stop their operations. It is only the name Jesus that we can use against them. That name only work with those that are doing things right. No corrupt people.

``With the number of Christians killed in Nigeria by Boko Haram, we can say the church has failed in its responsibilities. The church leaders should stop advertising themselves, they are not the miracle workers, Jesus is the one doing the works,’ he noted.
