Two new nuclear power plants for Pakistan

The Pakistan government has decided to set up two nuclear power plants worth Rs139 billion to overcome the severe power crisis the country is facing, official sources said here Thursday.

President Asif Zardari will discuss the acquisition of the fuel technology for the two new nuclear plants with the Chinese leadership during his forthcoming visit to Beijing, the sources said.
