On night two of the knockout rounds on “The Voice” team Christina and team Blake’s teams perform.
First up for team Christina was Devyn DeLoera with “I Have Nothing” and Laura Vivas with “I Need to Know”. Laura performed part of thehit in Spanish. After her fellow coaches expressed some surprise at the outcome of the performance, Christina based her decision on which one of the singers could benefit most from her coaching – Devyn.
Adriana Louise performed “Already Gone” and Celica Westbrook performed “Never Say Never”. Adam noted that there were different things that made each girl strong. Blake said that there were some pitchy moments and some redeeming moments from both girls; and Christina said that she was proud of them both before saying that both girls had tremendous talent and chose to keep Adriana on her team.
Alessandra Guercio sang “Take a Bow” and Dez Duron sang the Loinel Richie hit “Stuck on You”. The only guy remaining on Christina’s team, Cee Lo wanted to know how it felt to be the only guy. Dez answered that everyday was a blessing. Blake called it a battle of the heart throbs. Saying that she was really torn, Christina chose to keep Dez on her team.
Chevonne with “Dancing with Myself” and De’borah with “You Found Me” were paired together. Saying that both girls were natural performers, that she loved them both, and didn’t really want to see anybody go home; Christina chose to keep De’borah on her team.
The final pairing on team Christina was Aquile with “Gernade” and Sylvia Yacoub performing a song by her coach Christina – “Fire”. Noting that both took on some very ambitious songs, Christina chose to keep Sylvia on her team.
With Christina’s team complete, it was time for team Blake to take the stage and battle it out in song.
First up was country yodeler Gracia Harrison with thehit “I Don’t Wann Miss a Thing” and Liz Davis with “Gunpowder and Lead”. Although Adam said that he saw potential in Gracia; after saying they both did really good and he would have buckled under the pressure, Blake chose to keep Liz on his team.
Blake paired Grandpa Rudy Paris who performed “Forever” and Scotsman Terry McDermott who performed “Maybe I’m Amazed”. Christina noted the interesting song choices and Adam called Terry crazy good and wanted to see him go far. After saying that Rudy loved music so much he wanted to perform everything and Terry knows who he is; Blake chose to keep Terry on his team.
Next up were Colin McLoughlin with “Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)” and Michaela Paige with “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar. Christina noted that Michaela had an emotional connection with the song and Adam called Colin flawless. Blake said that he heard some great things and some flaw in both singers; saying that it came down to what he was into and chose to keep Michaela on his team.
Next up were Julio Cesar Castillo with “Somebody to Love” and Marissa Ann with “Lady Marmalade”. Noting that they both gave a great performance and there was a reason that they had both made it this far and it was dead even, Blake chose to keep Julio on his team.
The final knockout round performance was from Cassadee Pope with theand song “Payphone” and Suzanna Choffel with “Could You Be Loved”. Christina loved the song choice and Adam said Cassadee impressed him. Blake noted that the knockout rounds were like the battle rounds in that the singers had to showcase themselves. Saying that she knocked it out of the park, Blake chose to keep Cassadee on his team.

Next week on a three night event, the live rounds begin with all 20 singers performing on Monday and Wednesday; and on Thursday the top 12 finalists will be revealed after fan vote.
