After a night of dancing to country music on “Dancing with the Stars” more surprises are in store for the eight remaining couples.

The night kicked off with the judge’s choice for the encore performance. Noting that there were a number of great dances – including two perfect performances – head judge Len Goodman announced that the Viennese Waltz by Apolo and Karina would be the encore dance.

Before any results her announced, host Tom Bergeron announced that because of the presidential election next week there would be no results show. He also said that the original plan was to eliminate one couple at the end of the performance show on Monday based on the judge’s scores but with the storm and so many people unable to vote, there would be no elimination next week.

The week the results were being revealed from lowest scores to the highest. First up was Emmitt and Cheryl who were safe and Kelly and Valentin who were also safe.

The first performance of the night was from Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, and guitar player Jason Mraz who sang “I Won’t Give Up” while Chelsie and Mark danced.

When some of the couples were speaking with co-host Brooke Burke, Derek revealed that he had re-injured his neck and would not be performing next week but that Shawn’s original partner in season 10 – Mark Ballas – would take his place. Shawn and Derek were the next to learn their results. They were safe.

Next up were Giles and Peta who have consistently scored some of the highest scores in the season, but found themselves near the bottom this week. They were safe.

After scoring her highest points of the season, Kristie and Maks learned that they were safe and would be back next week.

With the bottom five couples safe, that means the top three couples are in jeopardy and one of them going home, possibly a couple who earned a perfect score for their performance.

The Macy’s Stars of Dance featured a high flying and upside down tribute to the French Revolution.

On the Monday performance show Tom Bergeron announced another twist for the couples with the fusion dance next week. The fusion dance is one dance and two different dances.

Again the couples would be choosing the dances for their fellow competitors. Host Tom Bergeron picked the names from a mirrorball bowl.

Kristie and Maks picked to Melissa and Tony – a Tango and a Cha Cha
Kelly an Valentin picked for Giles and Peta – an Argentine Tango and a Samba
Emmitt and Cheryl picked for Sabrina and Louis – a Tango and a Foxtrot
Apolo and Karina picked for Kristie and Maks – a Quickstep and a Samba
Melissa and Tony picked for Shawn and Derek/Mark – a Tango and a Paso Doble
Shawn and Derek picked for Emmitt and Cheryl – a Rumba and a Samba
Sabrina and Louis picked for Kelly and Valentin – a Cha Cha and a Foxtrot
Giles and Peta picked for Apolo and Karina – a Cha Cha and a Paso Doble

Six time Grammy Award winner and Country music star Taylor Swift performed her new hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” from her new album “Red” while the DWTS Troupe performed on the dance floor.

Time for the final results…

Tom Bergeron announced that Melissa and Tony were safe, which meant one of the couples who earned a perfect score was being sent home. Bergeron announced that Sabrina and Louis had topped the leader board three times during the season and with their perfect score on Monday night Apolo had earned the most perfect scores on the show in his combined appearances.

The couple eliminated was…

…Sabrina and Louis. Sabrina was eliminated on the same week – week six – as she was in season five. Sabrina said that being on the show was a dream; thanking Louis and the fans.

Next week the fusion dance and a Swing Dance marathon.
