Andy Reid

Philadelphia Pennsylvania. A report from Howard Eskin of Philadelphia television Fox 29 says Philadelphia Eagles football head coach Andy Reid is hinting to benching his starting quarterback Michael Vick in favor of rookie Nick Foles Eskin reports the reason for the quarterback change is that Vick is "not getting better" as the 2012 football season is the middle point.

The Philadelphia Eagles were undefeated the week after a bye week under Andy Reid's tenure lost their game after a bye week last Sunday versus the Atlanta Falcons 30-17 in Philadelphia.

Vicks has cut down on his fumbles since he lost two fumbles in the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. His two starts he has been fumble free.

The Eagles offense is tied for 29th place in the National Football League in points scored. The offensive line has done their job in protecting the quarterback. Vick has shown improvement in handling the blitz defense.

Reid's Monday press conference was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy approaching the east coast.

Reid who recently fired his defensive coordinator is trying to push the right buttons to save his job as head coach of the Eagles since the fans are asking for his departure.

The Eagles travel to New Orleans next week to play the Saints. The sports media will have to talk about in terms of the soap opera seasons of both teams that are having a tough time thinking about a winning season much less a playoff berth.
