Secret Garden- Did i not love you

There was a flower cried a woman’s tear

The pain and sorrow someone left behind

A fairytale which destiny maligned

This tender marvel set off to revere

-

Amidst her scent the woeful end entwined

For any open lover’s heart to hear

For any caring hope which wanders near

Unknown tomorrows flower was resigned

-

Dark shrouds of clouds with harsh winds they did bear

They had no need for flower or her cries

They tossed her to the ground of empty fear

-

Soft where the hands that found her laying there

And raised her up to listen to her sighs

There was a flower cried a woman’s tear
