Secret Garden- Did i not love you

There was a flower cried a woman’s tear

The pain and sorrow someone left behind

A fairytale which destiny maligned

This tender marvel set off to revere

Amidst her scent the woeful end entwined

For any open lover’s heart to hear

For any caring hope which wanders near

Unknown tomorrows flower was resigned

-

Dark shrouds of clouds with harsh winds they did bear

They had no need for flower or her cries

They tossed her to the ground of empty fear

Soft where the hands that found her laying there

And raised her up to listen to her sighs

There was a flower cried a woman’s tear
