2012 Elections: Who Not To Vote For In North Carolina

Republican That You Should Not Vote For: Rep. Virginia Foxx.

Rep. Foxx is seeking her 5th term in the 5th District of North Carolina against Elisabeth Marie Motsinger.

Rep. Foxx does not believe that government should not give anyone student loans. Here's a quote from her about this issue given on 4/12.

"I have very little tolerance for people who tell me that they graduate with $200,000 of debt or even $80,000 of debt because there's no reason for that."

Basically, she is saying that if you are broke, then you don't deserve a college education. Extreme conservatives think in this fashion because they know that they would lose a big chunk of their voting base, which is the uneducated.

Democrat That You Should Not Vote For: Hayden Rogers.

Hayden Rogers is running against Mark Meadows for the open seat in the 11th District of North Carolina. Due to redistricting after the census, the 11th District is more conservative than the last 10 years. Instead of holding fast to his political beliefs, Rogers caved in to the pressure by not attending the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte this year. Personally, I would never vote for anyone, Republican or Democrat, that was not willing to stand on their own.
