Pretty florals meet equestrian chic from Fixdesign spring/summer 2013

Italian fashion label Fixdesign presented their Spring/Summer 2013 collection in a fashion show in Milan on October 26, 2012.

Fixdesign Spring/Summer 2013 is all about tiny floral calico type prints featured in strapless tiered dresses that celebrate spring and summer, all accessorized with broad ribbons at the waistline and huge flowers in one’s hair.

Then for something different, Fixdesign has a frilly hoop skirt that one might expect on Little Bo Peep, which is teamed with a pin-striped cropped grey jacket, crisp white bow and pillbox hat but toughened up with black riding boot!

Turns out that Fixdesign also specializes in equestrian clothing!

Dropped waist minis are accentuated with lace petticoats and pretty tiered tops are trimmed with a healthy dose of lace as well to indulge one’s romantic side.

It’s not just about frilly frocks though – there are also several LBD’s (little black dresses), skinny jeans with moto jackets and pant-sets, paired with summery tops and of course equestrian boots.

And then Fixdesign has a good selection of outerwear including their pink and white houndstooth trench coat, worn by the model with putty colored fitted jeans and matching suede platform T-bar pumps.

Also worthy of mention is a very lovely deep mauve velvet jacket with sleek lines that pairs well with Fixdesign’s lacy skirts and tiered lace-trimmed dresses.

In their swimwear collection, a red and white gingham bikini (also in navy and white!) with a micro-mini skirt and matching wooden-heeled slides is quite adorable…

Quite a bit of variety in this Spring/Summer collection by Fixdesign but what can be specifically said about this offering is that it is sans theatrics and extremely wearable!
