The rest of the cold war, the mutual jealousy between Russia and the United States. Russia accuses U.S. of weapons to the rebels coordinate in Syria.

The controversy of this kind, between the two countries has been going on since the days after World War II, continued to escalate into conflict or psychological war cold war, until the end of the war in 1986, In 1991, Mikhail Gorbachev dissolved the Soviet Union, after launching Perestroika reform program and Glastnost, in 1980. Thanks to the persistence of Ronald Reagan in urging Mikhail Gorbachev with the pressures and ways. Until the talks in Iceland in 1986, which is recorded history to the end of the cold war.
The complexity of the Middle East began and is increasingly becoming an octopus, since the days of the cold war it was until now. Although the two countries Russia and the United States, never fought directly. But the conflict between the two, it does not directly cause a variety of local wars, among others, the Korean War, the Soviet invasion of the Hungarian, Czech, Vietnam War As the economy has slumped, and the Middle East crisis until now. Indeed a very expensive war, waste, and thousands of soldiers have been killed, who never returned to their family home, which they loved so much. Although the national flag, was given as a mark of honor to the family of the deceased a soldier who has become a hero to his people.

Russian General Nikolai Makarov important Wednesday said rebels fighting the army of Syria Bashar Stringer using US-made missiles. One type of missile systems that can be launched from the shoulder, which is also known as a MANPAD. But the part of the United States, according to a spokesman for the U.S. State Department Victoria Nuland, one MANPAD those in Syria are "model Soviet". In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry acknowledged that the U.S. did not send MANPAD the rebels directly. And do not know exactly how the logistics were taken. Moscow says Russia not know who brought Stringer to Syria. Possible weapons and others have been sent from abroad, through various means, including using public passenger aircraft or civil aviation, including all types of freight pursued. This is a very serious thing. According to Russia.

Since the cold war, until the end of the war, the Russians seem to be in constant pressure from the West. Russia asked, Turkey and Bashar's enemies in the Arab world, in order to halt military cooperation with the rebels fighting the government. Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, defending the rights of Russia's arms trade with anyone who wants it, as long as the sale does not violate the sanctions of the United Nations Security Council. In all other cases, no one can dictate to Russia or other countries, with whom and how they trade weapons with Russia. Similarly, Putin asserted. Moscow openly resist against Bashar. Criticizing West and Turkey for expressing their support for rebels fighting the government. Moscow is a permanent Security Council members with veto power, it seems that generates arrogance Putin.

Russia accuses Washington, coordinate the delivery of weapons to the Syrian rebels, although the U.S. State Department that the U.S. guarantee, does not provide relief arms. Washington know the delivery of a range of weapons to illegal armed groups active in Syria. It was strengthened by statements by U.S. officials that was broadcast by the U.S. media, the Washington coordinate and provide logistical support in the delivery of the shipment. Such allegations in reports by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

A spokesman for the U.S. State Department Victoria Nuland. Strongly denied the allegations. Very clearly we say that we (the U.S.) does not provide any kind of support weapons. According to Victoria Nuland, told reporters in Washington. Similarly preached AFP, monitored by Reuters News on Friday. Furthermore Spokesman U.S. State Department Victoria Nuland, said, we also have to explain and to coordinate and talk with countries around the world that we support the opposition, including those who make other choices of what we do. Something very clear what we're doing. We all are trying to make sure that any aid we give to the opposition, not to fall into the hands of militants. Therefore implication that we coordinate the delivery of arms to the rebels in Syria is laughable.

There has always been traditional
rivalry between US and Russia
and its continued even after Cold
War ended...may be there is some
semblance of truth to what Russia is
now accusing US of with regard to
supplying weapons to Syrian
rebel forces...Thanks for the
report there Taufan.

they have the police and the law for us "citizens" who have problems with each other but what about governments and politicians who cannot get along with other countries? They have carte blanche to murder each other and often humble citizens must pay. But back to those poor (mostly) semi- or illiterate Afghans and Pakistanis in little villages who are a threat to "national security" across the ocean... Rated up and promoted!

Karl true conflict situation is very complicated, various possibilities can happen. Everything just that Nina might be difficult to predict, and the other one, each had a strong alibi. Sofia True, it takes a wise self-control, so that everything can be controlled, but politics has its own character, a very narrow wisdom in politics. Thank you to you all, have given time and comments are very valuable to me, Karl, Martin, Nina, Terry, Sofia. All the best.
