Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel has opened up about their romantic Italian wedding ceremony as they revealed the first picture of their nuptials to America's People magazine. Calling the experience a “total fantasy,” Justin gushed to the magazine that his bride was “the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
The celebrity couple exclusively sold the pictures of their October 19 wedding ceremony, which cost around $6.5million, to People magazine for a whopping $300,000. The publication has just released the first photo of the pair from their big day which shows the 31-year-old singer literally jumping for joy next to his beaming bride.
Speaking about the lavish Italian ceremony, Jessica said: “It was a total fantasy experience” while Justin added: “It was a really special evening.”
Justin Timberlake reportedly wore a Tom Ford tuxedo that he helped to design for the ceremony while the bride, 30, looked stunning in a custom-made pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown. Jessica Biel had teamed the strapless gown with a matching veil, clutching a bouquet of white flowers as she smiled for the camera.
And it seems that Justin was bowled over by Jessica’s untraditional gown as he told the magazine that she was “the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
The pair tied the knot last Friday after a week of pre-wedding celebrations in the picturesque location surrounded by close friends and family. "It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.
Talking about the occasion, Justin Timberlake revealed that he serenaded his bride with a song specially written for her as she walked down the aisle. He said: “It was an original piece I wrote specifically for the evening and for her.”
The wedding was attended by 100 guests, including Jimmy Fallon and Andy Samberg, who enjoyed horseback riding and cocktail parties at the elite Borgo Egnazia resort in Southern Italy.
The happy groom added: “It was a lot to ask of them to travel, so we figured we'd give our guests a good party!”
Although everything went according to plan for the happy couple, new reports suggest Justin wasn't feeling well on his big day. A source claimed that the “Sexyback” singer tried to hide his discomfort and was in a “good mood” as he said his vows.
An insider told Us Weekly: “Justin wasn't feeling well all week and on his wedding day. They shut the place down! They had a big night at the bar where everyone went crazy - but Justin wasn't feeling great. [But] Justin was in a good mood. He had fun.”
