is in trouble again. The “Mean Girls” star has been accused of stealing $15,000 worth of clothing from the set of her new film, “Scary Movie 5,” according to a report in the National Enquirer.
It has been claimed by a source that Lindsay Lohan helped herself to the clothing items that were on her wardrobe racks on the set of her latest film “Scary Movie 5.” The National Enquirer report said that the 26-year-old actress took some “nice tops and skirts” among other things while filming the spoof horror movie last month.
The American tabloid quoted a set insider as saying: "It was the talk of the set in Atlanta. The clothes were on her wardrobe racks. Some nice tops and skirts and other items were gone.”
The source added: “I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel. All the other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay."
According to the publication, the troubled starlet, who was recently involved in an altercation with her mother, was unhappy with her part and almost dropped out of the movie but returned after she was threatened with legal action by the executives.
The National Enquirer reported: "The wardrobe people were unhappy about the missing clothes, but at the end of the day the producers decided it was more trouble than it was worth to try and get them back."
Meanwhile, a representative for the actress, Steve Hoing, denied the allegations, telling MailOnline: "This is pure National Enquirer fiction."

This isn’t the first time that Lohan has been accused of stealing. The actress landed in hot water in 2011 for reportedly trying to shoplift a necklace from a jewelry store.
