Lance Armstrong

The U.S.Anti-Doping agency said in August 2012 that Armstrong was doping himself and led a major doping program on his team.

On Monday, October 22, 2012 Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) which looked at the UCI report decided to take all of Armstrong's Tour de France titles away. He is also banned from cycling for life.

Armstrong, not wanting controversy to get in the way, stepped down from his cancer charity which he started and led called LiveStrong.

Nike had already stopped sponsoring Armstrong and now other companies are dropping him. On October 21, 2012 the day Armstrong was stripped of his titles, Oakley, a sports clothes and sunglass company stopped endorsing him. Some of the other companies that have dropped sponsoring him include Anheuser Busch, Honey Stinger and 24 hour fitness.
