- The 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Army Multi-lateral Meeting (ACAMM), 22nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM), and 2nd ASEAN Armies Sergeant Major Annual Meeting (ASMAM) were held in Brunei Darussalam from October 14 to 16.
The 13th ASEAN Chiefs of Army Multi-lateral Meeting (13th ACAMM) was held at The Empire Hotel and Country Club. This year’s meeting carried the theme “Challenges Faced by Armies Today – Country Perspective.”
The opening of the 13th ACAMM was officiated by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Lt. Gen. Emmanuel Bautista, Chief of the Philippine Army, led the Philippine delegation to the 13th ACAMM.
The AFP Shooting Team participated in the 22nd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) which was hosted by Brunei Darussalam for the fourth time.
The AFP Shooting Team bagged third place behind runners-up, the Royal Thai Army, and the overall champion, Indonesia.
The 2nd ASEAN Armies Sergeant Major Annual Meeting (ASMAM) was held at the Rizqun Hotel in Gadong, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
The meeting is intended to foster and facilitate discussions and interactions among Sergeants Major of the various ASEAN armies at the ASMAM.
Myanmar will be hosting next year’s ACAMM, AARM, and ASMAM. END
