At least seven members of Al-Qaeda were killed on Thursday in a drone attack near the town of Jaar, southern Yemen. "A drone, probably American, fired several missiles at a group of members of Al-Qaeda in the northwest of Jaar killed everyone," said a source from the local government.
According to a local coordinator of the Popular Resistance Committees, the site of the attack is an area where members of Al-Qaeda gather to perform attacks on the committees and the army itself.
