A criminal lawyer in Paris, known for his fight for the Jewish cause, a member of the CRIF, was one of the targets of the alleged Islamist cell dismantled ten days ago in France, according to information from the RTL radio Tuesday, October 16. The authorities have put in place a monitoring device around his office. Twelve people were arrested Oct. 6 in Islamist circles as part of the investigation into the assassination of Sarcelles. Five persons were released. To the public prosecutor of Paris, it is the 'dismantling of a terrorist group that is probably the most dangerous unearthed in France since 1996'. The first part of the survey focuses on attacking Sarcelles, a second is a chain of recruitment of candidates for the jihad, including Syria. Two suspected members of the Islamist cell dismantled were indicted for complicity in attempted murder, while seven are blamed for conspiracy in the preparation of acts of terrorism. A man was arrested Saturday. Two members of the cell are still at large.
