Egypt, October 15 – Cairo Criminal Court has elaborated on the grounds behind former prime minister Ahmed Nazeef's conviction on the charges that got him three years in jail and a nine million pounds fine.
The Court said that Nazeef embezzled an apartment for his deceased wife, Mona el-Sayed, in a San Stefano skyscraper at the low price of 154, 000 pounds, exploiting his position, and had received many buying-off gifts from Al-Ahram newspaper estimated to be worth 1.5 million pounds.
All the accusations were proven true by legal documentations.
