What they wore: Dolce & Gabbana Fellini Satyricon party

Dolce & Gabbana hosted a private cocktail party for the newly restored version of the 1969 film “Fellini Satyricon” during the 50th New York Film Festival, held at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center on October 13, 2012 in New York City.

Fellini’s “Satyricon” is an Italian fantasy drama written and directed by Federico Fellini, based on Petronius’s work by the same name, which was a bawdy and satirical piece produced during the reign of Nero and set in First Century imperial Rome.

Attending the party were Mia Moretti in her black lace gown, accessorized with a floral headpiece, while Mirabelle Marden, Nicky Hilton, Lucila Sola and Hilary Rhoda all opted for lacy cocktail dresses.

Model Dana Drori, who posed with the dapper Darrell Hartman, looked like she was in a Dolce & Gabbana dress from their Fall 2012 collection! But there was a lot of lace being worn at the Satyricon party!

Italian-American film director Edoardo Ponti, the son of Italian actress Sophia Loren and producer Carlo Ponti, was also there with wife Sasha Alexander, who looked lovely in a black and white spotted dress.

Also attending the cocktail party stylishly were Derek Blasberg (loved the burgundy jacket!), Jared Seligman, Gisella Marengo, Giovanna Battaglia, Genevieve Jones, Keegan Singh, Elizabeth Gilpin, Rebecca Dayan (loved the floral print!), Kira Lillie, Carla Gugino, Djordje Bogdanovic and Inga Rubenstein.
