Historic Peace Talk Deal in Manila

Decades had passed, finally Philippines' Government succeeded and soon to sealed an agreement between Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

It's been 40 years of bloody conflict in southern Philippines, now they agreed to a Peace Talk Deal, which President Benigno Aquino announced on October 7, 2012 and to signed in Manila on the 15th of October 2012 between the Philippine Government and the MILF.

This framework agreement paves the way for a final and enduring peace in Mindanao, second and easternmost island in the Philippines.

MILF Vice Chairman Ghazali Jaafar is quoted as saying "We are very happy. We thank the president for this."

Mindanao is the only area of the Philippines with a significant Muslim presence. The autonomy agreement once implemented the region will be renamed as Basangmoro after the Moro people.

Malayasia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak roled in this agreement has been widely acknowledge and one of his finest achievements as well the country, Whabuddin Ra'ees said, a professor of political science at International Islamic University Malaysia.

Najib will be witnessing the historical signing of the Framework Agreement with Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III at Malacanang Palace.

The Peace Accord will be finalised in 2016, by then they will elect a Prime Minister.
