Shabana Azmi is related to theater other than films, whose smile is pictured in songs like ‘Tm itna jo muskura rahey ho’, if she herself say that once she avoid to smile just because fun was made of her teeth, so it would be difficult to believe.

In an interview Shabana Azmi herself admitted that ‘my teeth are a bit broad so when I started my career at that time the film magazines use to make fun of my teeth that is my I started avoiding smiling because of my teeth but today it is not like that, today she smile openly, so who gave her so much confidence?

While answering to this question Shabana Azmi said that Mahesh Bhatt said me that “why you try to hide your smile, do you think that smile is related to teeth? It is directly related to eyes, if you will smile with heart than it will definitely go to people”. After listening to this I felt like any monk told me a formula, this saying brought my confidence back, as confidence came Shabana started laughing openly. Shabana says that when today people say to me that I have a very good smile then I say them that there was a time when I used to hide my teeth because people used to make fun of it. Teeth aside, being an actress she has to face embarrassment due to one more deficiency, for which she had to face in film ‘Anchor’, although she got awards for this film.
