The San Francisco Giants stayed alive for the second day in a row knocking off the Cincinnati Reds 8-3 on Wednesday afternoon. Tim Lincecum was strong for the Giants going 4.1 innings in relief of Barry Zito for the win. Mike Leake took the loss for the Reds. The best of five series is now deadlocked at 2 with the deciding game going Thursday afternoon at 1:07 EST in Cincinnati. The visitors have won all four games so far in the series. Matt Cain gets the start for the Giants and Mat Latos is expected to start for the Reds in the deciding game.
