Mexican actress Salma Hayek channeled happiness reigning in her personal life through comedies like Here Comes The Boom, release this Friday in the U.S., saying that at 46 splendid years has outpaced her most "melodramatic" and prefers make the viewer laugh.

"Maybe before I was harder to make people laugh. Now is the opposite. I can not mourn. Actually I am very happy to be happy," said the interpreter, married since 2009 with Francois-Henri Pinault, with whom he has a daughter , Valentina, five.

"As a young woman was much more melodramatic. Being an actress, had moments to enjoy the pain, suffering a little. Well, I enjoyed it, but had a tendency to melodrama. I was good to mourn.

When now I have a character who suffers, with the one to get into corners and dig, I do it without any problem, but I like doing comedy, "she said. In Here Comes The Boom, the budget cuts threaten to cancel the music program of a U.S. high school, until a Biology professor (Kevin James) begins to raise money working as a MMA fighter.
