In the week that the IMF cut the UKs expected growth to less then nothing (a shrinkage of .4pc) instead of the expected growth of .2pc we were treated to the sickening sight of Britain's millionaires congratulating themselves on what a good job they'd done.
Following Cameron's tax cuts for the nations richest people (those who pay hardly anything anyway) he fostered the idea that benefits can be cut by a further 10 million to cut the deficit. This is the same deficit that has risen faster since the Tory budget then at any time in the last four years.
The smugness coming out out Birmingham where these idiots had their conference was enough to make me feel quite ill this morning watching endless reruns of Cameron's conference speech. The sight of him prattling on about clearing up the last governments mess, when in fact things are now far worse, was puke inducing.
This followed the sight of BoJo using the conference as an opportunity to show off his new hand made suit and having a few jokes at the electorate's cost . A truly gut retching experience.
I read recently that Cameron promises the electorate a referendum on Europe if the Torys win the next election. In his next breath (although unreported) it was added that the vote wouldn't be an in or out choice but rather should we go all the way or just part of it. So the offer was just another cynical attempt by Cameron to deceive voters into giving them another chance even if the economy doesn't improve.
This act of overt deception was pulled out just after the other twit in the house, Ed Milliband announced that he would lead the Unions when they next march through London. He went on to say (not widely reported) that should Labour win the next election the voters couldn't expect Labour to change any of the current governments policies.
Beige Politics, neither party offers anything new and both wanting to cosy up to the rich at the expense of everyone else. Europhiles, each and every one of them. They care nothing about this country or its people otherwise we wouldn't be paying the highest fuel bills in Europe while everyone (In France and Germany) gets a discount.
If there was a real alternative, not the Greens who want to tax everybody, or fringe parties who have one argument to put, but a real alternative like when Baldwin led the Labour party. People might actually care about politics and vote. Instead we all run about in some sort of dream world while these people do what they want. It has to stop, surely.
