US President Barack Obama boards Air Force One

Employer threatens employees with job loss if they bring back Obama - ‘King of Versailles,’ a timeshare mogul of Florida has sent a clear message to his employees through e-mails - support Barack Obama at your own risk.

In the threatening e-mails it has been made clear to the employees that they could lose their jobs if they vote to bring back President Barack Obama to the White House.

David Siegel, the billionaire president and CEO of Orlando-based Westgate Resorts, believes that even though his company has been able to remain afloat and weather the storms despite the harsh economic conditions, it might not be possible to continue to do so if President Obama gets re-elected for another term.

This has been reported in foxnews.com of dated 10th of October 2012.

In the opinion of David Siegel, if President Obama comes back to power in the White House, taxes would increase and that would have an adverse on his business - it would kill his desire to maintain his company, is how he put it.

His company employs more than 10,000 worldwide with 8000 in Orlando, Central Florida – his threat might influence the voters and could have some effect on the way they vote.

Threats from the Romney camp - It is said that all is fair in love and war and the battle to the White House is nothing less than a war between the Republicans and the Democrats.

Lies and half-truths are weapons which are at the disposal of both the parties and, if deployed properly and at the appropriate time, can wreak havoc.

Mitt Romney did just that and did not give any time to the incumbent President to recover – his attack has taken the Democrats unawares and they are still smarting from the onslaught.

This is how the campaign of Barack Obama now stands - it seems the Democrats are out on a limb, desperation is setting in and they are clutching at every straw to keep afloat.

The way things had gone in the 1st Presidential debate in Denver coupled with reports trickling in regularly of Mitt Romney gaining ground and consolidating his position, the strategist of Obama are in a fix.

They and the whole world apparently knows that Mitt Romney has not been truthful on some matters and the Obama camp by continuously harping on branding Romney as a ‘liar’ - this is doing more harm than good.

And the Republicans are ridiculing these claims of the Democrats and dismissing it as a sign of desperation after a tough debate.

The silver lining – very cloud has a silver lining and President Barack Obama has reportedly seen a surge in Facebook ‘likes’, thanks to a coordinated social media campaign.

It seems President Obama's page received more than one million ‘likes’ in a single day against an average of 30,000 per day in earlier weeks.

This has been reported in bbc.com of dated 10th of October 2012.

prad,

Apparently you can't tell a threat from statements of fact. I don't think David Siegel is saying anything that I and some others have said here and elsewhere that bringing Obama back for 4 more years will kill more jobs for certain.

Base on your logic in accusing Romney for lying, I guess you are lying to cover for the president.

i beg your pardon ... the insinuation (that one might become jobless in that organization in case President Obama is re-elected) amounts to intimidation and is not ethical ...
