The PowerPoint world lost a good guy today

I learned this morning that PPT MVP Brian Reilly passed away yesterday. Brian has been a PPT MVP for more years than just about anyone else. He has been battling illness since last spring. Things seemed to be getting better, but then (as such things go) took a very sudden nose dive. While Brian hails from New York, he spent his last days in Seattle near his brother.

Brian was a New Yorker's New Yorker. Loud, opinionated, and great fun. He knew just about everything there was to know about making charts jump through hoops - especially if he could use code to help. He has been creating tools for PPT for more years than most people even used the tool.

My strongest memories of Brian are from PPT Live and the MVP summits. You couldn't miss his influence. I wonder, who gets custody of Capt'n? I will miss his posts.

Brian and I may not have always agreed, but I always considered him a good friend. He will be missed.
