Greece currently not in need of financial aid: Merkel

German authorities in the eyes of many Greeks are responsible for many woes falling on them. So it is not surprising that a visit by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, accompanied by protests in Athens.

Some protesters carried posters and banners of the offensive against Merkel subtitles, such as "Hitler's Daughter, get out of Greece, we do not want Fourth Reich" and "Down with the country, b***h."

Leftist demonstrators carried a banner with a modified quote from Bertolt Brecht's line: "Angela, do not cry. In the refrigerator no longer anything to take you."

- By participating in the demonstration we want to get our politicians to oppose saving no end - said one of the participants in the protest. - Capitalists pay - chanted, demonstration participants. The demonstration was attended by about eight thousand people.

Visit without love

Merkel is expected in Athens on Tuesday in the early afternoon. This is the first visit of the head of the German government since the outbreak of the crisis in Greece.

Two of the largest central trade unions have announced a rally in central Athens while Merkel. Protests also called Communists and the largest opposition party, Greece - left coalition SYRIZA

Highly indebted Greece is counting on international financial assistance. Since the reduction of budget expenditures by more than 11.5 billion euros in 2013-2014 the EU and the IMF make the payment of the next tranche of the second rescue package for Athens, amounting to 31.5 billion euros. Suspend the aid to Greece would mean the threat of bankruptcy
