College Football 2010: Alabama vs South Carolina

The College Football AP Poll ranking results is in with voting from week 6 that's been shaken up with huge upsets, blowouts and everything in between.

The biggest upset in week 6 unfolds as LSU got their own dose of medicine as Florida putting on a show using their stifling defense to limit the Tigers with only 2 field goals. LSU defense meanwhile folded allowing Gators running back Mike Gillislee ran a career-high 146 yards and two touchdowns, in the second half as they handed No. 4 LSU in first loss 14-6 Saturday. LSU slide to No.9 in the AP poll rankings, while Florida moved up to No.4 in the poll.

The South Carolina's 67-year old coach Steve Spurrier must be proud of his football team as the No. 6 Gamecocks dominates No. 5 Georgia 35-7 rout. Georgia slide from No.5 down to 15th in the AP poll ranking while the Gamecocks now up in No. 3 in the poll due to how they dominated the Bulldogs.

West Virginia's quarterback Geno Smith continued to impress throwing his 14th TD's this year to be considered as serious Heisman contender this year with another stellar performance against the Texas. He completed 25-of-35 passes for 268 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Mountaineers' 48-45 thrilling win at Texas.

Oregon Ducks maintained their second ranking in the poll in another dominating win against No. 23 ranked Washington. Meanwhile the attrition is high this week with the bottom five of the AP Poll was dropped from top 25 and replaced with Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech, Boise State and Michigan to complete the last five bottom.
