Overall changes took place , in such a short period of 6 years? .. Achieved because of three factors:

First , the existence of political will of the war, , revenge, and victory. It was not only the will of the leadership, but they were accepted by the will of the whole people. Because I come from a generation of students who came out in the demonstrations in February 1968 in protest against the meager sentences handed down against military officials for the defeat of 1967 , in Cairo University . The torrential desire for war, and to get rid of shameful humiliating defeat, simmering in the hearts of all the people, and young people in the forefront, and therefore, when people thought that Sadat lagging in preparation for war, also we came out in demonstrations against him in,1972

The second factor is proper planning for the battle, which began to rebuild the armed forces on the basis of scientific and professionalism, and based on the best leaders and men, those great leaders who made the Egyptians raise their heads pride and confidence in themselves , like El Gamasi , Ahmed Ismail , El Mahy , El Shazly , those great leaders who made the Egyptians raise their heads pride and confidence in themselves.

The third factor , it is the efficiency and political skill made by Sadat in creating the Arab and international theater of the war, and at the same time ingenious plan for strategic deception, Israelis thought , that nothing will happen. And when they discovered the trick, in the final moments, Egyptian forces had crossed Suez Canal, and with all the people of Egypt crossed the defeat to victory!.
