A 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway is missing and volunteers help search for the girl in the Ketner Open Space Park in Westminster, Colo., on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.

At least 500 volunteers assisted authorities in the search for Ridgeway, who disappeared Friday morning while walking to school. An Amber Alert was issued Friday night which is a national emergency notification. A dive team was dispatched on Ketner Lake late Saturday to search with sonar for a body in the water, Westminster police spokesman Trevor Materasso said. The search resulted to nothing, and left the lake around 5 p.m. Police are also trying to extract information by scanning social media about the girl’s possible whereabouts.
