Free Anand Krishna: Ten Statements on the unfair legal process

Anand Krishna has been on a hunger strike since the Judge issued his arrest on 9 March 2011. This strike is not an act of sulkiness. Under no circumstances he demanded that the arrest be deferred. Ten Statements on the unfair legal process We came here from all over Indonesia without any halberd, bludgeon or sword. We came here with our own consciousness. We have one demand to the Head of the South Jakarta District Court: Judge Harry Sasangka must be replaced. A trial must be conducted without external pressures. 1. Despite him always being cooperative, Anand Krishna was still arrested 2. The letter of arrest was issued based on suspicion (not facts). The Judge is biased! despite presumption of innocence and in the absence of the court decision, the Judge has decided that the accused is guilty. 3. The Judge lied! There were 25 witnesses, and yet the letter of arrest only mentioned nine witnesses. This is an indication that the Judge has hidden some facts, an act against the Judge Ethical Code # Clause 2 Article 1. 4. The Judge is not being independent! He allowed a person to enter the closed trial to accommodate external demand. 5. During one of the trials, the Judge exclaimed, "(If you want to present expert witnesses) You better prepare your ammunition!" 6. The trials should focus on evidence and witnesses related to the sexual harassment case Clauses 290 & 294 of the Indonesian Criminal Law.
