Despite the latest fights which have been taking place between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on 'American Idol', the executives of the show have confirmed that Minaj will not be fired

It seems as if Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey both will continue their jobs as judges on 'American Idol'. After the fight and bitter exchange of words which took place between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, many people started speculating that Minaj will be terminated or that Carey will walk-off. But both these things did not happen and now it seems as if the show will go on after all!

Producers of 'American Idol', squashed the rumors circulating regarding the termination of Nicki Minaj as a judge on the show. A statement by the 'Idol' producers was released on Friday, according to a report by, which read as follows; "Despite all the accusations and media speculation -- much of which is inaccurate -- production is going extremely well today and the judges are focused on finding the best talent here in Baton Rouge."

"This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had. We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can't imagine a better group to find the next AMERICAN IDOL," the "Idol" execs go on to say.

The fight started off between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, during auditions, over a contestant. Due to a small argument, which eventually went out of hands, Minaj went all out against Carey, accusing her of being stuck-up and difficult to put up with. She used a number of expletive words in her tirade and said that she could not put up with 'her ***** highness' anymore. After that Minaj walked off the stage and this entire episode was caught on camera and leaked online. According to some sources, Minaj also said that she would 'knock (Carey) out', and this was taken as a threat against the singer. The next day the judges returned to the show as if nothing had happened but a day later, Mariah Carey, said during a telephonic conversation with a TV host, that she would be beefing up her security because 'Nicki is unpredictable'.

Upon hearing this comment, Nicki Minaj let out another rant against Carey on Twitter in which claimed that the singer was just insecure because Minaj was the best judge on the show. While this drama continued, people though that Minaj will be kicked off the show, but now even those rumors have been put to rest.
