Student Protest Clashes In Italy

Protesting students clashed with police in riot gear earlier today in Milan. Austerity proves once again that it doesn't work as austerity has stripped away the rights of Italy's youth from receiving higher education by taking away funding to public schools.

Italian protesters were somewhat prepared as they threw eggs and oranges at the police. However, they weren't prepared for the backlash as riot police used flares as a diversion to rush back at the demonstrators.

Police began hitting protesters with batons while arresting a few students. None were seriously injured.
