Kim Kardashian opens up about her relationship with Kanye West in an upcoming interview and admits that she “can't imagine being with anyone else” than the superstar rapper. The reality TV diva makes the revelation in a candid interview with Tatler magazine's November issue, adding that she is a hopeless romantic.
Kim Kardashian has been unlucky in love considering her two failed marriages and a history of bad romances. However, the famous socialite admits her new relationship is entirely different from her past unions.
Calling Kanye West her “best friend,” 31-year-old Kim explains in the interview that the rapper is a source of comfort in her life. She tells Tatler magazine, “It’s so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you’re going through. Being with someone I’ve known for so many years is comforting,” according to a blog post on HollywoodLife.com.
Posing in a white wedding-style gown on the cover, she continues in the interview, “He’s been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely. It’s good to be aware that he definitely doesn’t want anything from me too, because he understands the business. I can’t even think about being with anyone else than the man I’m with.”
Kim Kardashian, who had a number of high-profile relationships in recent years with the likes of Reggie Bush, Miles Austin and ex-husband Kris Humphries, admits that she gets embarrassed when she reads interviews she gave with past boyfriends.
The brunette beauty explains, “When I look back at interviews I gave [about previous boyfriends] saying, ‘We’re talking about marriage, etc.’ It’s embarrassing. And I really believed it at the time! I’m such a hopeless romantic that I’ll always believe the next one is the one.”
In the interview, Kim Kardashian also slams reports claiming that her short marriage to second husband, basketball player Kris Humphries, was a publicity stunt.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star, whose first marriage to music producer Damon Thomas ended in divorce in 2004, tells the publication that failure of her union with Humphries was “embarrassing.”
She says, “I mean, that is just not the person I am. Who would honestly get married for ratings? It’s not like the ratings had dropped and we needed a boost.”
She adds, “Never mind other peoples’ emotions – who would mess with their own emotions in that way? And for me to do it and have it not work out was the most embarrassing thing. It was risking ruining my career.”
