Of course it blows. It's inflammable, it's alcohol. People have been throwing Molotov Cocktail on each other for decades, and just now they realize that may be used as a car fuel?
It is about time to give Brazil some credit on technology development with environmental responsibility. The Brazilian drivers use alcohol in their cars since the mid-70's. For some time, there was even a F-1 car using that fuel.
It stopped for a while (80's - 90's)... for political reasons only. But now, almost all cars sold in Brazil (even the big ones) are capable of running on alcohol and gasoline.
The Methanol is not as good. It's made out of corn (that's food!), it smells bad. and it's flames are inconveniently invisible.
