According to the AP, the gunmen suddenly broke into student boarding house near the University of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi from light 3g about 22g on 1-10 to 2-10. They called each student then shoot or exorbitant them.

At least 27 people, mostly students, were killed in a massacre of student boarding house in the city of Mubi, northeastern state of Adamawa, Nigeria.

Danjuma Aiso - students of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi - said the students recently received an anonymous letter, mounted on the port female student boarding house, located in the campus of the school. The letter, believed to be written by the Boko Haram group, warned school officials to evacuate students.

Massacre occurred just days after government troops made a raid to wipe out Islamist Boko Haram forces in Mubi late last week. Therefore, many believe that this massacre was a retaliatory move by Boko Haram.
