Brazil is taking a head start in business automation. In the next couple of years, all B2B operation will be supervised remotely. Government will have instant and electronic acknowledgment of all buying of selling.
This is a huge tool (for tax purposes) but will also bring reliable data to study Brazilian market development and maybe redirect tax burden and public finance to where it would be more effective (given the government aims to improve peoples quality of life for the lowest price possible).
But I doubt that the government is trying to create the proper tools to do it. In the end, the tax burden won't be bothering the president's campaign contributor and the public finance will never favor the politic opponent.
