Chairman Pakistan cricket board Zaka Ashraf said that Pakistani cricketer is offended, ICC awards ceremony doesn’t counts,’s case will be raised in ICC meeting all matters are in my control. Zaka Ashraf told British Broadcasting Corporation that award ceremony doesn’t mean to us because a Pakistani cricketer is offended, Zaka Ashraf said that PCB feels the importance of this matter and it will also be raised in ICC meeting.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board said that the extreme reaction came forward in Pakistan for not including Saeed Ajmal‘s name in short list is natural and these were also heard in parliament. Zaka Ashraf said that ICC should be flexible in this matter and at least Saeed Ajmal’s name should be short listed. He said that if ICC says that this list is based on independent panel than again there should be preference to performance. According to Zaka Ashraf there is big difference in wickets of Saeed Ajmal and Flender and this should be kept in sight while setting up list for awards and that player should get more votes who runs and wickets are more, not like whatever a 32 member panel decides with their own will. This is totally gambling.
