San Jose California. San Jose Police Officer Albert Morales said the police answered an emergency call just about a shooting before 1am Sunday morning at the 6000 block of Monterey Highway.
When the police officers arrived at the crime scene they found the shooting victim on the floor who was struggling with life threatening gunshot wounds.
Morales said the shooting victim was taken to a San Jose area hospital where he died a short time later.
The San Jose police learned there was a street fight involving several persons. Some of them had handguns that led to the shooting and death of one person.
The name of the shooting victim was not released to the public until his family is notified. The police at this time do not any suspects in custody or motive in the shooting incident.
