ELVIS PRESLEY's daughter Lisa Marie tried her hand at a new career by working in a traditional British fish and chip van.
For seventeen years, Lisa Marie Presley lived in the same California neighborhood without getting to know anyone who lived around her. So, two years ago when she moved to England, Elvis’ daughter decided she would mingle with the locals.
In 2012 Lisa Marie Presley. Elvis' daughter, 44, moved to the small village of Rotherfield in England, purchasing a £9 million luxury home. Despite her wealth and stardom, Lisa was keen to immerse herself into village life, as its reported she socialized with locals unaware they were opposite the daughter of Elvis as soon as she moved to her new home.
Presley and her husband, guitarist Michael Lockwood, have both embraced local life where she made friends with Kim Scales, who owns the food truck and a local pub called The King’s Arms.
She volunteered to work the "Mr. Chippy" van owned by her friends Kim and Justin Scales who run the business said that Presley loves serving customers.
The other people in the village of Rotherfield are well aware of who Presley is now, but her fame doesn’t really matter.
Since moving, Lisa Marie has become fully immersed in the local culture and has tipped her hat to the British way of life, saying in a recent interview for BBC Radio 2 that she much prefers the way of life in Britain as opposed to living amongst "self-absorbed" Californians.
